We  transform methane into more valuable and usable energy and chemical products - all without agriculturally derived feedstocks that compete for food production.


  • Methane is the simplest carbon feedstock.  Our initial process utilizes clean, abundant and low-cost pipeline natural gas, followed by phase-in of waste methane as a sustainable feedstock.
  • Our proprietary methanotroph synthetic biology chassis builds on nature to enable broad-based metabolic conversion of methane conversion into chemicals along with post-extraction biomass that itself constitutes a valuable protein-rich co-product.  
  • Methanotroph fermentation is a proven commercial technology.  We improve on this with a scalable, robust aerobic process that combines oxygen with methane from diverse sources.    Our process uniquely tolerates mixtures with contaminants such as ethane as well as variable constituents found anaerobic waste gases.
  • Our platform is carbon-neutral to carbon-negative through process integration, extensive use of renewable energy and best-in-class CO2 recovery, conversion,  and sequestration.
